Oak Island

Oak Island
From Lunenburg stay on the scenic Lighthouse Route on Highway 3.

Since 1795 this small island has been the destination of many who have come seeking a treasure reputedly buried there by the infamous Captain Kidd. In 1801 land on this island was granted to a Sam Ball, person formerly enslaved in the United States. Who knows, maybe he knew where the treasure was buried.
